Why are my files not showing on my EMATIC player when I turned it on?
- There are couple of reasons why your files are not showing on the mp3 player

- Question: How did you transfer the files to your mp3 player?

- If the answer is “by Syncing with Windows Media Player”

- Answer1: This mp3 player does not support with syncing with Windows Media Player or any other players.

- If the answer is by “by copy paste or drag and drop”

- Answer2: Check the file types of the files that you transferred, check the “type of file” under properties.

- Question: How do I check the file type properties?

- Use your computer, go to your file and then right-click on the file using the mouse to see the drop down menu and click on “properties”. Inside the Properties under the General Tab, check the “Type of File”, it should show the compatible formats. ( Refer to table 1.1)

 Table 1.1 Correct file formats support by this player
o For Music- supports Mp3 , WMA
o For Videos- supports Mp4 (320x240) , 3GP
o For Pictures- JPG
o For EBooks- TXT ( from notepad)

- Answer3: Check the files on your mp3 player from your computer, if they are inside their correct folders.

o For Music- “AUDIO” folder
o For Videos- “ VIDEO” folder
o For Pictures- “PICTURE” folder
o For EBooks- “EBOOK” folder

- Answer1: You can delete those files from the Mp3 player, and then transfer the correct file format to your player. ( Refer to table 1.1 )

- Answer2: You can reformat your Mp3 player to erase all the files. ( Refer to how to reformat Mp3 player)
How do I transfer music to my EMATIC player
- There couple of ways to transfer music files to your Mp3 player.
-Answer1: First, You can drag and drop individual files from your computer to the Mp3 player or you can copy and paste individual files from your computer to the mp3 player.
Do NOT use Windows Media Player ®. Follow these steps:
1. Connect your mp3 player using the USB cable.
2. Wait for your computer to recognize the player.
3. Once your player has been detected, go to My Computer.
4. You will see that there is a Removable Disk - that is your player.
5. Simply go to the file folder of your songs and right click the mp3 files you want and select copy (usually “My Music” inside your “My Documents” folder).
6. Paste it to the Removable disk/drive in My computer under the folder “AUDIO”. Do Not put the songs in subfolders or albums on the player. All songs must be inside “AUDIO” folder.
7. After copying your songs, safely remove the hardware (Mp3) from your computer.

This player does not support Copyright-Protected Music such as songs from iTunes ®.

How do I transfer videos to my EMATIC player?
You need to install the cd converter software to convert the videos to Mp4 or 3GP file format with 320x240 frame size.
You can get the newer version of our software converter by simply going to our website at http://ematic.us and click up updates and download the updated conversion software http://ematic.us/drivers/Multimedia.rar
You can also go to a website to convert your videos for free at www.media-convert.com
How to convert videos on www.media-convert.com?
Answer: On local file conversion click on browse, then browser for the Video that you want to convert, then click open.
Then go below to Output format, leave No video preset , go directly to the second tab and click the down arrow and choose MP4 video or .MP4.
Then, click on Ok to Start conversion, it will take couple of minutes to convert the file, download the converted file to your computer. Double click or click play, to make sure it will play on your computer.
After you converted your video files simply copy and paste them to the mp3 player under “VIDEO” folder.

- 1. Connect your mp3 player using the USB cable.

Supports “TXT” file or “Notepad TXT”, it does not support “PDF” files from Adobe
1. Connect your mp3 player using the USB cable.
2. Wait for your computer to recognize the player.
3. Once your player has been detected, go to My Computer.
4. You will see that there is a Removable Disk - that is your player.
5. Simply go to the file folder of your TXT files and right click the files you want and select copy (usually inside your “My Documents” folder).
6. Paste it to the Removable disk/drive in My computer under the folder “EBOOK”. Do Not put the TXT in subfolders on the player. All TXT must be inside “EBOOK” folder.
7. After copying your TXT, safely remove the hardware (Mp3) from your computer.
How do I convert DOC file to TXT file?
For Windows Document files or DOC files, simply convert “DOC” files to “TXT” by copy and paste the DOC file to your “Notepad” and “save as” TXT file format.

How do I transfer Audio book to my Mp3 player?
- Do NOT use Windows Media Player ®. Follow these steps:
1. Connect your mp3 player using the USB cable.
2. Wait for your computer to recognize the player.
3. Once your player has been detected, go to My Computer.
4. You will see that there is a Removable Disk - that is your player.
5. Simply go to the file folder of your AUDIO BOOK file and right click the files you want and select copy (usually “My Music” inside your “My Documents” folder).
6. Paste it to the Removable disk/drive in My computer under the folder “AUDIO”. Do Not put the songs in subfolders or albums on the player. All songs must be inside “AUDIO” folder.
7. After copying your audio books, safely remove the hardware (Mp3) from your computer.

How do I reformat my EMATIC player with Camera?
Answer 1: To Reformat the EMATIC MP3 player using computer

1) Connect your MP3 player to your computer

2) Wait for your computer to recognize it as a flash drive
3) Go to My Computer, look for the removable disk (MP3 player ) right click on it then click format
5) New window will pop up, then press the start button to reformat your MP3 player
6) Once done formatting, close all the open windows and safely remove the MP3 player, just like you would for a regular flash drive
Answer 2: To Reformat the EMATIC MP3 with CAM player using the player
1.) Go to “Tools” on your player click play
2.) Select “Memory” click play
3.) On the Flash Memory you will see that the workspace is highlighted with color red, transfer the red to format by clicking the volume button found underneath the player once.
4.) When the red is transferred to the format press play once
5.) It will ask you Format? And to select yes use the left and right buttons on the player, then under yes click play.
6.) Wait for it to reformat for a few secs then press menu
7.) The flash memory is now refreshed.
